Paralegal
Nicole is a corporate and trademark paralegal with many years of experience in complex legal transactions and filings. She works primarily with our corporate team handling various filings and transactional matters and with our intellectual property team handling trademark and copyright filings. She has particular experience in compliance matters related to the Corporate Transparency Act, federal securities law filings, Virginia corporate filings, Delaware corporate filings and USPTO filings.
Background
Prior to joining Kaleo in 2022, She was a Volunteer Coordinator for Henrico County Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. Prior to her work with Henrico CASA, she was a compliance analyst and worked in the legal department at CapTech Ventures. While working at McGuireWoods early in her career, Nicole developed special expertise in ediscovery matters, document review, and the preparation of privilege logs, among others.
Outside of work, Nicole spends her time on adventures with her family, especially at the beach. She also enjoys running races or spending time outside. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from Oral Roberts University, a Juris Doctor from Regent University, and a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
