Paralegal
Rosalind “Ros” McClean
Paralegal
Rosalind joined Kaleo in August 2024. Prior to this, she served as a Paralegal and Assistant Manager of Discovery – Legal Operations at Norfolk Southern Corporation, a Fortune 300, NYSE corporation. With extensive experience in railroad-related matters, Rosalind specialized in discovery for traumatic injuries involving Federal Employee Liability Act (FELA) employees and contract management.
Background
In her role as a paralegal, Rosalind worked closely with trial counsel and government agencies, including the FRA, NTSB, and STB, to coordinate the gathering of documentation for the defense of injury cases and class action lawsuits. She managed large scale litigation and discovery projects on a regular basis, involving teams of attorneys and legal professionals. She managed and administered complex contracts by analyzing expiration and possible renewal clauses, types of contracts, monetary implications, settlement releases, third-party vendor agreements, and collaborations between parties. Notably, she has worked on large-scale contracts in the transportation industry dating back to the 1800s. While her primary focus was on complex litigation and legal operations, and assisting in the coordination of discovery responses, Ros has broad experience in a corporate legal department of all kinds.
In her current role at Kaleo, Rosalind leverages her experience in contract management and litigation to assist the team with all aspects of a paralegal’s practice, including everything from litigation support and electronic filing, to contract analysis and legal research, to project management. She also performs contract management services for clients on a monthly subscription basis, assisting with their CLM needs.
In her spare time, Ros enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
