Valerie is a litigator who represents companies and individuals in complex commercial disputes and government investigations. She advises clients across all phases of litigation, with a focus on matters involving significant legal, business, and reputational risk.

Her practice is defined by a pragmatic and strategic approach. Valerie is known for building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical advice that aligns legal strategy with business objectives. She has extensive experience managing all aspects of litigation, from early-stage risk assessment through discovery, motion practice, and resolution. Throughout her practice, she has represented both private and public companies across a range of industries, including defense, aerospace, technology, private equity, and real estate.

Before joining Kaleo, Valerie practiced at an Am Law 100 firm where she had an opportunity to second with Apple Inc.’s litigation team. She previously clerked for the Honorable Michael S. Nachmanoff of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Valerie earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 2014 and her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 2019. She is a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
